Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is launching a new football league in a few weeks time.Apparently will be called Premiere League.We should not expect too much from this but it will be a good start for reviving the sagging popularity of the game we filipinos should be playing.I'm not sure about the leagues name,but again it's better than nothing. (I meant the football league)I do hope the Younghusbands will play in the league because football needs poster boys to heighten curiosity among ordinary pinoys who I think is unfamiliar with football already.PFF specially needs the support of media if they actually aim to be successful this time.Goodluck to PFF,goodluck to Philippine football.(Thanks Pinoy Soccer for the pics.)

Even though a popular grade school and high school athletic activity, as a professional sport, this never caught the interest of the general American public. Weird, I thought. Meanwhile, people go crazy over it in most part of the world.
The world calls it the beautiful game.Is it because of it's ability to make peace between 2 warring countries?,or the way the game is played,so intricately to create the perfect pass for a goal?,or is it because it's being played by ordinary people (no height required)with no need of much equipment? But once your hooked,your on it forever.Specially,when you know you are with the whole world with it...I guess Senor,the US have got their own sports and they do usually prioritize their own.I think filipinos have got to realize,we can be really good in this sport.American sports is not for us,baseball? Maybe.But look at the world's attitude on football,we could learn something from it.Thanks Senor.
